I have personally witnessed several instances of money being redirected fraudulently and it is difficult, if not impossible, to recover. Three steps (lights) to prevent wire fraud. Red light is getting an email, text or call with wire instructions. Yellow light is caution to not reply to any emails or give out your information to any caller. Green light is to call one of the numbers provided and talk to a trusted party to verify wire instructions.
